Our passion is to help believers effectively engage the Nations Next Door with the Gospel of Christ—seeing those who are lost come to faith, helping new believers grow as disciples, connecting them to a thriving church, and equipping them to engage their own communities with the Gospel.
4 Fields of Engaging the Nations for Kingdom Growth

As our model, we look to the Lord Himself and to the example of the early church as they engaged new communities. In the ministry of Jesus, we see a clear pattern that was later followed by His disciples and the Apostle Paul. This pattern has been pictured and taught in various ways, but we find the visual analogy developed by Nathan Shank—the Four Fields of Kingdom Growth—especially helpful. He compares this ministry process to a farmer. First, the farmer enters an empty field where he plans to work and prepares the soil for planting. Then he scatters seed broadly, trusting the Lord to bring the growth. As new plants begin to sprout, he carefully cultivates and nurtures them. Finally, he gathers the harvest into his barn. Along the way, he trains others to do what he is doing.
In much the same way, Jesus entered new towns, engaged people through acts of compassion, scattering seeds of truth and looking for those who would respond and follow Him. To those who followed, He gave deeper instruction, helping them mature in their faith, and preparing them to lead His church and multiply. The disciples and apostles continued this same pattern: they entered new cities and engaged the people, proclaimed the Gospel, discipled those who believed, gathered them into churches, and developed leaders who strengthened the church and were sent out into new fields.
